About Our Company

Original Kemsol Picture

Kemsol Products Ltd. originated in 1934, when Stanley G. McIntyre (pictured above) began importing a single cleaning product from the United States known as Kemsol Cleaner. In those days, Stanley sold the cleaner door to door to Regina residents.

By 1955, the company was taken over by two of Stanley's sons, Stuart and Don. The two began to expand the business outside of Regina, and by the early 1960's opened a branch office in Saskatoon, eventually covering the entire province of Saskatchewan.

In 1968, a new modern warehouse and manufacturing-plant were constructed at 1120 McDonald Street in Regina, which still serves as the company's head office. The firm then went on to produce its own line of chemicals, including disinfectants for hospitals, floor finishes, glass cleaners as well as other soaps and detergents to service a variety of customers.

What began as a basic cleaning product distribution company has evolved into a modern institutional and industrial manufacturing supply business. Kemsol manufactures and distributes a complete line of environmentally safe cleaning products and maintenance equipment.

To our present customers, thank you for your continued confidence in our organization, and to our future customers, we look forward to the opportunity of serving your sanitary supply needs.
