DfE
The DfE Program promotes pollution prevention and other risk reduction
activities in industrial sectors. To accomplish this mission:
* DfE forms partnerships with industry and other interested parties to develop
information on environmental and human health impacts, performance, and cost of
cleaner technologies and approaches.
* DfE disseminates information to help businesses design and redesign
cost-effective products and processes that are cleaner and safer for workers and
the public.
Vision:
* DfE approaches will become a standard part of business decision-making and
will be considered in risk management activities.
* The DfE Program will continue to promote cleaner and safer technologies,
processes, and materials.
Unlike other "Green" standards, DfE partnership requires that companies
continuously improve their formulations.
e-clean Products don't stop with the formulation. We use state of the art
packaging to reduce plastic, cardboard and make the product easier to use.
Kemsol Products Ltd. in partnership with the Bullen Companies (Airx) have chosen
to join with the EPA and their Design for the Environment program for the
majority of the e-clean products. The Design for the Environment (DfE) Program
is a voluntary partnership program that works directly with industry to
integrate health and environmental considerations into business decisions.
